Hopeless Hope (Part 10) has a poem in Hindi. For those who don’t read or understand it, I am providing transliteration and translation here.
Original Poem
Transliteration (in Roman script)
Man ke peechhe chalne waale
Man ke saath bhatakna hoga.
Haan, abhi dekhi thi man ne
Rang-birangi-si woh titli
Phool-phool par bhatak rahi thi
Jaane kiski khoj mein pagli.
Par woh peechhe chhot gayi hai
Indradhanush jo woh sundar hai
Ab usko hi takna hoga.
Translation (in English)
If you want to go after one’s heart, you will have to wander like it.
It is true that the heart had noticed that colourful butterfly a while ago. Who knows what was it trying to find by chasing one flower after the other.
But that butterfly is left behind now. You will have to (be happy to) gaze at the beautiful rainbow (which the heart has noticed) now.
